Representatives of ANDZOA, namely Mr. Bouayad, Mr. Afker, and Mr. Ait Lhaj, took part in a meeting with students from the National School of Forest Engineering (ENFI) on Monday, April 20, 2026. The session aimed to strengthen engagement with future professionals in the fields of environment and forestry. During the meeting, the ANDZOA team presented the organization, outlining its missions and key areas of intervention, particularly in relation to the sustainable development of oasis and argan ecosystems. They also showcased the main projects currently being implemented, with a special focus on the RES-MAB project. The presentation highlighted the project’s philosophy, objectives, partnerships, and innovative actions on the ground. The event provided an opportunity for interactive exchange with students, fostering discussions on climate change challenges and territorial development. Participants explored practical approaches to sustainable resource management and shared perspectives on the role of young professionals in addressing environmental issues. Key messages from the presentation emphasized the importance of promoting sustainable and innovative solutions within biosphere reserves, notably through the adoption of the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus approach. The discussion also underlined the need to develop resilient business models adapted to local contexts, as well as the critical role of research, innovation, and youth engagement in tackling climate change. This initiative reflects ANDZOA’s commitment to supporting knowledge sharing and empowering the next generation to actively contribute to sustainable development and environmental resilience.
