As part of the implementation of the RES-MAB (PRIMA) project, aimed at developing adaptation and mitigation solutions based on the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus, ANDZOA organized a launch workshop gathering all project stakeholders. This event served as a strategic opportunity to present the projectās objectives and components and to kickstart a collaborative dynamic among key actors committed to enhancing the resilience of Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves to climate change.š¹ Key Workshop Highlights:ā Presentation of the project’s objectives and allocated resourcesā Identification of intervention areas within the Argan Biosphere Reserveā Exploration of WEFE Nexus solutions to strengthen climate resilienceā Introduction to the three-layer business model frameworkš” Discussions focused on climate challenges affecting the Argan Biosphere Reserve, particularly recurring droughts, and assessed the relevance of WEFE Nexus-based approaches for integrated and sustainable management of natural resources.š ANDZOA extends its gratitude to all partners and stakeholders for their commitment and participation.
