RES-MAB Highlights Mediterranean Climate Solutions at UNESCO’s 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves

During the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves held in Hangzhou (China), Dr. Mari-Carmen Romera delivered a dedicated presentation showcasing the RES-MAB project’s impact and its efforts to promote WEFE Nexus-based adaptation and mitigation solutions across Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves. She also took part in a high-level expert roundtable that addressed the project’s implementation in seven Biosphere Reserves across Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon, Spain, Italy, France, and Slovenia. The RES-MAB project was carried out through a strategic alliance of research institutions, government agencies, and NGOs — and was funded by the PRIMA Foundation.
