Po Delta Biosphere Reserve Holds Meetings to Address Future Challenges in Land and Biodiversity Management

The Po Delta Regional Park Authority has recently partecipated to two important meetings to tackle the future challenges of land and water management in the Delta area.The first meeting, entitled “The Changing Delta – Multi-risk Adaptation in Aquascapes”, organized by IUAV University, was held within the framework of the MIRACLE Project Urban Lab.The second meeting, organized by Po Delta Park, focused on “Financing Opportunities for the Aquaculture and Fisheries Sector, andStrategies for the Management and Protection of Endangered and Sentinel Species in the EUSAIR Region.”These events provided a platform to delve deeper into key projects currently underway in the area, including RES-MAB, LIFEEL, SAMESEA, and ASPEH. The discussions highlighted efforts to strengthen resilience against environmental changes, safeguard biodiversity, and support sustainable economic activities connected to the Delta’s water landscapes.The Ente Parco Regionale Veneto del Delta del Po reaffirmed its commitment to continue such initiatives to foster collaboration among stakeholders and ensure a sustainable future for this unique territory.=
