RES-MAB Project Midterm Evaluation Meeting
The RES-MAB Project Midterm Evaluation Meeting was held online via Zoom on February 4th, 2026, from 10:30 to 14:00 CET, and was organized by the PRIMA Foundation.
The meeting was opened by Mr. Ali Rahuma and Mr. Ali Karnib from the PRIMA Foundation administration. This was followed by a project overview delivered by Ms. Roser Maneja and Ms. Carmen Romera from the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC), who presented a briefing on the project’s overall progress and implementation status.
During the meeting, each Work Package Leader presented the components under their responsibility, highlighting key achievements, ongoing activities, and progress to date. An open discussion then took place between PRIMA representatives and the Work Package Leaders, focusing on implementation challenges, coordination aspects, and next steps.
The RES-MAB Project aims to strengthen resilience and sustainable management in Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves by promoting innovative, science-based solutions and enhancing cooperation among partners. The project seeks to support biodiversity conservation, climate adaptation, and sustainable development through integrated approaches and effective stakeholder engagement.
