As part of our 8th knowledge transfer workshop, we chose to address the issues of sexism and gender parity during a conference led by Alexia Anglade, founder of Lumières s’il vous plaît, organized at the Campus Provence Ventoux. This topic resonates particularly strongly this week, as France marks the National Day for the Fight Against Sexism this Sunday.
We are all influenced by stereotypes, sometimes without even realizing it. It is precisely this reality that we chose to collectively question—without judgment or preconceived ideas.
The session offered an open and constructive reflection, supported by concrete examples, encouraging us to challenge our perceptions, highlight the biases that run through our professions and interactions, and remind us of our individual and collective responsibility.
A special thank you to Bénédicte Martin, Vice President of the Région Sud – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in charge of viticulture, rural affairs, and local heritage, as well as Georgia Lambertin, President of the Chambre d’Agriculture Régionale PACA, whom we had the pleasure of welcoming as guests of honor, sharing their insights and experiences.
Many thanks also to Alexia Anglade for the quality of her intervention and to all participants for the richness of the discussions. The reflection has begun—now it is up to us to turn it into concrete actions.
With the participation of Vignobles de la Vallée du Rhône, Parc naturel régional du Mont‑Ventoux, the RES-MAB project, and the PRIMA Partnership.
